A.J. Croce is a Nashville-based piano virtuoso and singer-songwriter whose genre-spanning sound blurs the lines between blues, soul, rock and roll, and Americana. He earned his stripes early, touring with B.B. King at just 18 years old, and has since built an acclaimed catalog while collaborating and performing alongside legendary artists like Willie Nelson, Ray Charles, Leon Russell, and Ry Cooder, among many others.
Over a career defined by work with some of music history's most respected producers—Jack Clement, Tony Berg, and Greg Cohen among them—Croce has released 10 albums that charted across Top 40, blues, Americana, and jazz formats, landing 22 singles on various Top 20 charts. His musical evolution is evident in recent collaborative projects like "Cantos" with Ben Harper, "Twelve Tales" with Allen Toussaint, and "Just Like Medicine" with Vince Gill, each showcasing a shift toward roots-rock sensibilities. From childhood, piano became his lifeline after he suffered a total loss of eyesight from ages 4 to 10, drawing inspiration from blind pianists like Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder to find solace and direction.
