Aldo Nova, born Aldo Caporuscio on November 13, 1956, is a Canadian hard rock musician who rose to prominence with his 1982 self-titled debut album, which reached number 8 on the Billboard charts, thanks in large part to the success of the single "Fantasy," which peaked at number 23 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Beyond his solo career, Nova has also made significant contributions to the music industry as a producer and songwriter, earning a Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 1997 as co-producer of Celine Dion's Falling into You and co-writing four songs on La Ley's Uno, which won the Grammy for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album in 2000.
