Alemeda is an Ethiopian-Sudanese-American singer-songwriter and producer whose music combines alternative rock, pop-punk, indie pop and occasional electronic influences with candid writing about relationships, independence and self-discovery. Raised between Ethiopia and Arizona, she gained attention with the viral 2021 single “Gonna Bleach My Eyebrows” before signing with Top Dawg Entertainment and Warner Records and releasing her 2024 debut EP, FK IT. She expanded her sound with the 2025 EP But What The Hell Do I Know, featuring “Beat A B!tch Up” with Doechii, “Chameleon” with Rachel Chinouriri and “Happy With You,” followed by the gritty 2026 single “Broken Record.” Her genre-blurring catalog and emotionally direct performances have established her as a rising voice in contemporary alternative pop and rock.
