Atomic Rule is an American sludge-metal and metalcore band founded in 2023 by late Every Time I Die guitarist Andy Williams and Eternal Sleep bassist Travis Bennington. Built around massive grooves, down-tuned riffs and elements of doom, progressive metalcore and classic heavy rock, the group completed its recording lineup with vocalist James Henderson and drummer Kevin Boutot, formerly of The Acacia Strain and Dry Kill Logic. Atomic Rule introduced its recorded sound with the three-song With Skull Crushing Force, featuring “Song One,” “LIZARD” and “Bone Lady,” followed by The Golden Rose with “Thoth-Amon,” “Crom” and “Neptunium.” The project marked Williams’ return to creating heavy music after the dissolution of Every Time I Die.
