Betty Buckley is an American singer, actress, concert artist, and Broadway icon known as one of musical theater’s most powerful voices. She won a Tony Award for originating Grizabella in the Broadway production of Cats, where she introduced “Memory” to Broadway audiences, and earned additional acclaim for Sunset Boulevard, Triumph of Love, 1776, Pippin, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Carrie, and the national tour of Hello, Dolly! Her screen credits include Eight Is Enough, Carrie, Tender Mercies, Frantic, Split, Preacher, Law & Order: SVU, and The Leftovers, while her recording career includes albums such as Ghostlight, Story Songs, Hope, and Betty Buckley Sings Stephen Sondheim.
