Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is a contemporary swing revival band from Southern California, known for hits like "Go Daddy-O" and "You & Me & the Bottle Makes 3 Tonight (Baby)." Formed in Ventura in 1989 by Scotty Morris, who named the band after blues legend Albert Collins called him "the big bad voodoo daddy," the group has maintained a consistent sound and lineup, with Morris and drummer Kurt Sodergren as the only original members. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy has gained recognition for their energetic live shows and performances, including the Super Bowl XXXIII halftime show in 1999, and continue to tour worldwide, interpreting swing music of the 1940s and 1950s and creating original songs in a similar style.
