Broadside is a Richmond, Virginia-rooted pop-rock and pop-punk band known for combining melodic hooks, emotional songwriting, and alternative-rock influences. The band broke through with Old Bones and the fan favorite “Coffee Talk,” then expanded its sound across Paradise, Into the Raging Sea, and Hotel Bleu, incorporating increasingly polished pop and electronic elements on songs including “Paradise,” “Heavenly,” “Dazed & Confused,” and “Cruel.” Broadside’s current era is led by vocalist Oliver Baxxter alongside guitarist Domenic Reid, bassist and backing vocalist Patrick Diaz, and drummer Tay Ewart, with the album Nowhere, At Last continuing the group’s shift toward a broader modern alternative-rock sound.
