Chayanne is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, dancer, and actor whose mix of Latin pop, romantic ballads, dance-pop, and tropical influences has made him one of the most enduring stars of Spanish-language pop. Born Elmer Figueroa Arce, he began performing with the Puerto Rican group Los Chicos before establishing a solo career that has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide. His extensive catalog includes signature songs such as “Fiesta en América,” “Tiempo de Vals,” “Provócame,” “Dejaría Todo,” “Salomé,” “Atado a Tu Amor,” “Yo Te Amo,” “Torero,” “Y Tú Te Vas,” “Un Siglo Sin Ti,” “Humanos a Marte,” and “Bailando Bachata.” Albums including Tiempo de Vals, Provócame, Atado a Tu Amor, Sincero, Mi Tiempo, En Todo Estaré, and Bailemos Otra Vez helped sustain his success across Latin America, Spain, and the United States.
