Chief Keef is a Chicago rapper, producer, and songwriter widely regarded as one of the defining architects of drill music and a major influence on modern hip-hop. Born Keith Farrelle Cozart and also known as Sosa, he broke into the mainstream with “I Don’t Like,” followed by the landmark debut album Finally Rich and signature tracks including “Love Sosa,” “Hate Bein’ Sober,” “Faneto,” and “Save That Shit.” His raw delivery, unconventional melodies, self-produced experimentation, and independent approach have influenced generations of drill, trap, and melodic rap artists. Later projects including 4NEM, Almighty So 2, and the 2026 album Skeletor continued his evolution as both rapper and producer, while his business ventures include Glo Gang and the 43B label imprint.
