Chris Franjola is an American stand-up comedian, writer, actor, and podcast host from Long Island, New York, known for observational comedy and years of work in television comedy. He spent eight years as a writer and regular performer on E!’s Chelsea Lately, contributing to more than 1,500 episodes and creating recurring characters for the show, and later appeared in its scripted spinoff After Lately. His credits also include writing for Family Guy, the MTV Video Music Awards, and The Chelsea Handler Show, hosting FX’s Sons of Anarchy aftershow Anarchy Afterword, and appearing on Lights Out with David Spade, Punchline, The Josh Wolf Show, and Funniest Fails. Franjola also hosts The Cover to Cover Podcast with Chris Franjola, while his recorded stand-up includes the comedy albums The Shallow End and Young Hair Old Face.
