Codiciado is the solo stage name of Tijuana-born regional Mexican singer, songwriter and producer Erick de Jesús Aragón Alcantar, known for a modern approach to norteño and corridos that pairs traditional instrumentation with contemporary production and autobiographical storytelling. Aragón first gained recognition as a co-founder and frontman of Grupo Codiciado before launching his solo career in 2021. His solo catalog includes “Vamos Aclarando Muchas Cosas,” “Ando Enfocado,” “Bélico El Asunto,” “Golpes De La Vida,” “Te Lo Dije” with Grupo Firme, “Déjame Dormir” with Carín León and “No Voy A Cambiar” with Xavi. His albums Golpes De La Vida and Así Es La Vida established Codiciado as a major contemporary música Mexicana act with a distinct identity separate from his former group.
