CRS? is a Los Angeles DJ and producer whose roots in music go back practically to birth. Raised around studio culture through his father’s work at The Sound Factory in Hollywood, he came up on drums and turntables early, and over time built a reputation as one of the most important drum and bass figures to come out of Los Angeles.
He started playing drums at 8, got his first turntables at 13, and never really looked back. Since then, he has played across North America, released music on his own Herbn’ Music and APX1’s Ghetto Life, worked with Top Cat’s 9 Lives label in the UK, and built a massive catalog of mixtapes, releases, and collaborations. Along the way, he has shared stages with names like Goldie, DJ Hype, Roni Size, LTJ Bukem, KRS-One, Fat Joe, E-40, Too Short, and many more, while also helping shape the Los Angeles scene through parties like I Love L.A. and his deep involvement in the city’s underground culture.
