Dirty Heads are a Southern California band from Huntington Beach known for blending reggae, hip-hop, alternative rock, pop, and laid-back coastal influences into a distinctive crossover sound. Led vocally by Jared “Dirty J” Watson and guitarist/vocalist Dustin “Duddy B” Bushnell, the group broke through with Any Port in a Storm and the Alternative chart-topping “Lay Me Down” featuring Rome Ramirez. Their catalog also includes fan favorites such as “Vacation,” “My Sweet Summer,” “Oxygen,” “Stand Tall,” “Cabin by the Sea,” “That’s All I Need,” and “Rescue Me,” along with their popular reinterpretation of Joe Walsh’s “Life’s Been Good.” Albums including Sound of Change, Dirty Heads, Swim Team, Super Moon, Midnight Control, and 7 Seas have expanded their mix of reggae rhythms, melodic hooks, rap, and alternative rock, while collaborations have included Matisyahu, Tech N9ne, Travis Barker, Nick Hexum, Slash, Yelawolf, and Rome Ramirez.
