Disko Cowboy, also known as Dave Wrangler, is a producer, designer, and genre-blending DJ whose sound pulls from a wide mix of influences without feeling scattered. Growing up in the Texas Hill Country, he absorbed everything from ’90s pop country and Waylon and Willie to alternative rock, hip-hop, and rave classics. That broad foundation, along with a deep connection to DIY culture and the remix mindset, helped shape him into an artist who sees music less as fixed categories and more as something to be reworked, reimagined, and pushed into new spaces.
