DJ Tay James is a Baltimore-bred DJ, A&R executive and producer best known as Justin Bieber’s longtime tour DJ and musical collaborator. He began DJing at 16 and joined Bieber’s live team in 2009 shortly after graduating from Hampton University, going on to perform at arenas, festivals and major television appearances around the world. His genre-blending sets move through hip-hop, R&B, pop and dance music, while his work behind the scenes includes A&R contributions to Bieber’s Grammy-nominated album Justice and helping connect Bieber with Wizkid and Tems for the hit “Essence” remix. James has also held nightclub residencies in Las Vegas, Miami, Chicago and New York and performed private events for major artists, celebrities and global brands.
