Everclear is an American alternative rock band formed in Portland, Oregon, in 1992 by singer, guitarist, and songwriter Art Alexakis. One of the defining radio-rock acts of the 1990s, the band broke through with “Santa Monica” and built a platinum-selling catalog with songs including “Father of Mine,” “I Will Buy You a New Life,” “Everything to Everyone,” “Wonderful,” “AM Radio,” “Heroin Girl,” and “When It All Goes Wrong Again.” Their albums include World of Noise, Sparkle and Fade, So Much for the Afterglow, Songs from an American Movie Vol. One: Learning How to Smile, Songs from an American Movie Vol. Two: Good Time for a Bad Attitude, Slow Motion Daydream, Invisible Stars, Black Is the New Black, and Live at the Whisky a Go Go.
