Gretchen Wilson is an American country singer-songwriter known for a gritty, honky-tonk-driven style that blends traditional country, country rock and working-class storytelling. She broke through in 2004 with the No. 1 single “Redneck Woman,” which spent six weeks atop the country chart and earned her a Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance. Her multi-platinum debut album Here for the Party also produced hits including “Here for the Party,” “When I Think About Cheatin’” and “Homewrecker,” followed by the platinum album All Jacked Up and songs such as “All Jacked Up,” “I Don’t Feel Like Loving You Today” and the Merle Haggard collaboration “Politically Uncorrect.” A longtime member of Nashville’s Muzik Mafia circle, Wilson later founded her own Redneck Records label and has continued recording independently, including the 2026 releases “Redneck Shit” and a new version of “Here For The Party” featuring Ella Langley.
