Hairball is a Minneapolis-based arena-rock tribute band known for transforming classic rock favorites into a theatrical concert experience packed with costumes, character changes, lights, smoke, fire, pyrotechnics, and oversized stage production. Active since around 2000, the group performs a two-hour-plus celebration of major arena-rock and hair-metal acts including Van Halen, KISS, Mötley Crüe, Queen, Journey, Aerosmith, Guns N’ Roses, and others. Rather than focusing on a single artist, Hairball recreates multiple legendary rock acts throughout each show, with vocalists changing characters and costumes as the set progresses. The nationally touring production has built a large following through more than two decades of high-energy performances and continues touring extensively across the United States.
