James Hype

🇬🇧

James Hype built his reputation on club-focused records and a level of live DJ technique that sets him apart from almost everyone in his lane. Alongside hundreds of millions of streams, major sales across the UK and Europe, and records that have become staples on dance floors worldwide, his identity is rooted just as much in what he can do behind the decks as what he releases in the studio.

His rise has balanced crossover momentum with club credibility. After signing with The Cross Records and Island Records UK, he pushed further into wider audiences with singles like “Afraid” featuring HARLEE and “Good Luck” featuring Pia Mia, while still returning to the dance floor through Beatport Top 10 releases, a collaboration with Vintage Culture, and a number one charting single with Tita Lau.
