Jason Cross is a Michigan-born, Nashville-based independent country-rock artist whose music combines hard-hitting rock guitars with modern country storytelling and a gritty style he has dubbed “grungetry.” Originally from Jackson, Michigan, Cross began writing and performing for hometown audiences before relocating to Nashville in 2020 and releasing his debut single “It Ain’t Me” in 2021. His catalog includes “Beer Ain’t Gonna Drink Itself,” “Already Gone,” “Routine Town,” “Mud,” “Too Good Not To,” “Same Ol’,” “Hits Hometown” and the Noah Henson collaboration “Sticks & Stones.” He has toured with and supported artists including Lakeview, Jon Langston, Chase Matthew, Granger Smith, Craig Morgan, Scotty McCreery and Buckcherry while building his following as a fully independent artist.
