Jay Leno is a stand-up comedian, television host, writer, and automotive personality whose career spans comedy clubs, late-night television, and live theater. He became one of television’s defining late-night figures as host of NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno from 1992 to 2009 and again from 2010 to 2014, delivering topical monologues and comedy centered on current events, pop culture, and everyday life. He later brought his passion for cars and motorcycles to the Emmy-winning Jay Leno’s Garage and remains an active touring comedian. Leno received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor and was inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame in 2014.
