Joe Sib is an American stand-up comedian and storyteller whose material draws from growing up in California, punk-rock culture, parenthood and aging. Before moving into comedy, he fronted the bands Wax and 22 Jacks and co-founded the independent label SideOneDummy Records in 1995, which became an important home for acts including Flogging Molly, Gogol Bordello and The Gaslight Anthem. His comedy credits include the autobiographical one-man show California Calling, the albums Don’t Call Me Dude, Bro and Nowhere Near the Top, comedy specials released by Dry Bar Comedy and 800 Pound Gorilla, and opening performances alongside Jim Breuer during Metallica’s 2018–2019 tour.
