Josh Abbott Band (JAB), fronted by singer/songwriter/guitarist Josh Abbott, has been a dominant force in Texas country music for nearly two decades. Formed at Texas Tech University, the band gained national recognition with their 2010 breakthrough album, She’s Like Texas, which debuted on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and featured the gold-certified hit “Oh, Tonight” with Kacey Musgraves. Albums like Small Town Family Dream and Front Row Seat further solidified their reputation, earning them appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and CONAN. With three RIAA gold-certified singles, JAB has continued to evolve through albums such as The Highway Kind and Somewhere Down The Road, while maintaining their independent spirit and loyal fanbase. Their performances at major festivals and the historic Ryman Auditorium highlight their enduring impact on the Texas country scene.
