Lacee is a Memphis-born Southern soul, R&B and blues singer-songwriter known for expressive vocals and songs rooted in love, relationships and down-home dance-floor grooves. Born Lacy Yvonne Reed, she began singing in church and launched her recording career with Songstress in 2006 before expanding her audience through albums including Lacee’s Groove, Soulful, Beautiful and Mind Gone. Her best-known songs include “Lacee’s Groove,” “Move Something,” “Juicy Lips,” “Any Woman’s Man” and “I Ran a Good Man Away,” while recent Malaco Records releases include “Cheat Code,” “My Kountry Kin Folk” and “Ain’t No Love Like My Love.”
