Lakeview is a Nashville-based country-rock duo made up of Jesse Denaro and Luke Healy, known for fusing blue-collar country songwriting with hard-rock guitars, pop hooks, and the heavier edge of their metalcore backgrounds. The two musicians met while playing in separate metal bands around Pittsburgh before relocating to Nashville and developing Lakeview’s hybrid sound. Their self-titled debut album includes tracks such as “Home Team,” “Son of A,” “Wrong Side of the Track,” “What I Know Now,” “Rock Bottom,” and “Money Where Your Mouth Is,” a collaboration with metalcore band Gideon. Lakeview has continued pushing the country/rock crossover with songs including “Name in a Song,” “Sorry,” “Wreck My Night,” and “Kill Me First,” building a catalog aimed equally at modern country listeners and fans of heavier guitar-driven music.
