Lane Smith is an American country singer-songwriter from Spring Branch, Texas, known for a modern country sound that blends Texas grit, Nashville polish, rodeo roots, and emotionally direct songwriting. Raised just north of San Antonio, he grew up around rodeo culture as a bullfighter before building an independent country career with a 2018 debut EP, the 2023 self-titled album Lane Smith, and later releases including Austin and “Like I Loved You.” His catalog includes songs such as “Austin,” “Slow Burn,” “Break Mine,” “Good Thing Goin’,” “Stone Cold Sober,” “Whiskey Won’t,” “Someone You Don’t Wanna Know,” and “Like I Loved You,” and his 2026 tour schedule includes Stoney’s Rockin’ Country in Las Vegas.
