Like Roses is an American alternative rock, emo, and pop-punk band from Berkeley, California, known for emotionally charged songwriting, gritty guitar riffs, and the powerful vocals of singer and guitarist Amy Schmalkuche. Emerging from the Bay Area's independent music scene, the group developed a following through its 2018 EP Closure and later releases including "Easy," "Splenetic," "Broken Things (Lie to Me)," and the 2024 EP Stuck. The viral success of "Easy" helped introduce the band to a wider audience, leading to a recording agreement with Hopeless Records. Their debut full-length album, After It Ends (2026), features songs including "Nowhere," "Wrist," "Buried," and "Holidays," showcasing their blend of raw vulnerability, melodic hooks, and explosive alternative rock arrangements.
