Los Ángeles Azules are a Mexican cumbia sonidera group formed by the Mejía Avante family in Iztapalapa, Mexico City, in 1976. Known for romantic melodies, prominent accordion lines, tropical percussion, and dance-floor rhythms, the group built an enduring catalog that includes “Cómo Te Voy a Olvidar,” “17 Años,” “El Listón de Tu Pelo,” “Mi Niña Mujer,” and “Entrega de Amor.” They introduced their classic songs to new generations through collaborations such as “Nunca Es Suficiente” with Natalia Lafourcade and “Mis Sentimientos” with Ximena Sariñana, and in 2018 became the first traditional Mexican music act to perform at Coachella.
