Madeon is a French electronic producer, DJ, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist known for combining French house, electro, dance music, and polished pop songwriting with highly visual live production. Born Hugo Leclercq in Nantes, he first gained international attention with “Pop Culture,” a live mashup of 39 songs performed on a Novation Launchpad, before establishing his original catalog with tracks such as “Icarus,” “The City,” “You’re On,” and “Pay No Mind” from his debut album Adventure. His collaborative single “Shelter” with Porter Robinson became one of both artists’ signature recordings, while his second album Good Faith reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums chart and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album. Madeon expanded his sound further on the 2026 album Victory, blending electronic production with pop, punk, indie-rock, and French-touch influences on songs including “Hi!,” “Fire Away” featuring Slayyyter, “Red Jacket” featuring Sam Gellaitry, and “Super Platinum” featuring Erick the Architect.
