Michael Grimm is a guitarist and vocalist with a bluesy Southern soul sound who shot to fame as the winner of NBC's America's Got Talent in 2010. Raised by his grandparents in Waveland, Mississippi, he was shaped by church hymns and country music before eventually relocating to Las Vegas, where he became a staple of the bar and club scene and honed his soulful rock style.
After two independent albums, Grimm's show-stopping performance of "When a Man Loves a Woman" on AGT's finale sealed his victory and launched his major-label career with Epic Records. His self-titled debut, produced by Don Was, arrived in May 2011, marking the official start of his time in the spotlight.
