MICO is a Filipino-Canadian alt-pop-rock singer, songwriter, and producer from Toronto known for confessional lyrics and a genre-blending sound that combines pop-punk, indie pop, alternative rock, hyperpop, and modern guitar-driven pop. Born Miguel Veloso, he built an early audience through Discord performances, TikTok, and independently released music before breaking through with “cut my hair,” which became a Canadian radio hit.
