Microwave is an Atlanta alternative rock and emo band known for blending post-hardcore intensity, pop-punk melody, grunge-heavy guitars, and experimental textures with emotionally direct songwriting. Led by vocalist, guitarist, and producer Nathan Hardy alongside bassist Tyler Hill and drummer Timothy “Tito” Pittard, the group built a devoted following with albums including Stovall, Much Love, Death Is a Warm Blanket, and 2024’s Let’s Start Degeneracy. Songs such as “Lighterless,” “Vomit,” “Drown,” “Grass Stains,” “Circling the Drain,” and “Bored of Being Sad” highlight a catalog that moves between explosive guitar rock and more atmospheric, introspective territory. Let’s Start Degeneracy expanded the band’s sound further with elements of psychedelia, ambient pop, R&B, and experimental rock while retaining the emotional weight at the center of Microwave’s music.
