Mo Amer is a Palestinian-American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, producer, and creator known for personal, sharp, and culturally rich comedy rooted in family, displacement, identity, and life between Arab and American worlds. Raised in Houston after his family fled Kuwait during the Gulf War, Amer built his stand-up career through international touring, the Allah Made Me Funny tour, work with Dave Chappelle, and Netflix specials including The Vagabond, Mohammed in Texas, and Wild World. He also created and stars in the award-winning Netflix series Mo, appeared in Hulu’s Ramy, and acted in Black Adam, giving his live comedy a mix of storytelling, social observation, immigrant experience, and Houston perspective.
