Mon Laferte is a Chilean-Mexican singer-songwriter, musician, and producer known for a wide-ranging sound that moves through Latin alternative, rock, pop, bolero, folk, cumbia, and electronic music. Born Norma Monserrat Bustamante Laferte, she built her early career in Chile before relocating to Mexico City and later broke internationally with Mon Laferte, Vol. 1 and the hit “Tu Falta de Querer.” Her catalog includes signature songs such as “Amárrame” with Juanes, “Mi Buen Amor” with Bunbury, “Amor Completo,” and “Antes de Ti,” while albums including La Trenza, Norma, Seis, 1940 Carmen, Autopoiética, and Femme Fatale showcase her constant stylistic reinvention.
