Nick Cannon is an American rapper, producer and entertainer whose music career runs alongside his extensive work in television, comedy and film. Born Nicholas Scott Cannon, he began performing at a young age before releasing his self-titled debut album in 2003, featuring tracks such as “Gigolo,” “Get Crunk Shorty” and “Feelin’ Freaky.” His later music has moved between hip-hop, R&B, comedy and dance-oriented projects, including The Gospel of Ike Turn Up, The Miseducation of the Negro You Love to Hate and The Explicit Tape: Raw & B, with collaborations involving artists such as Ty Dolla $ign, Jeremih, Quavo, Brandy and Jacquees.
