OSCURE is one of those names that has been woven into the Los Angeles underground dance scene for years, building his reputation through DJing, producing, and remixing across a wide range of club-focused sounds. He reads like a real scene veteran — someone whose value comes not just from releases, but from years of presence, consistency, and connection to the culture.

Based in Los Angeles, he has played major events including EDC, Beyond Wonderland, Nocturnal Wonderland, Coachella’s Do LaB stage, Lightning in a Bottle, and Earthdance, which says a lot about the level he has reached while still staying rooted in the underground. On the music side, he has released work through his own LABA Recordings along with local and indie labels like Funky Ghetto Phonics Music, Off World Music, Phunkedup Records, DMT3 Traxx, Fifth Gear, Red Bull Academy, Ball of Waxx, and Booty Trax, while also collaborating with artists including Run DMC, Sula, Medusa & the Feline Science, ILL Knob, Stacy Brandt, Sarah Ball, Eastern Sun, John Kelley, and Stu G.
