P-Lo is a Filipino American rapper, songwriter, and producer from Pinole, California, and a co-founder of the influential Bay Area hip-hop collective HBK Gang. Known for energetic post-hyphy production, bass-heavy rhythms, and hometown-focused lyrics, he built his solo catalog with tracks including “Put Me on Somethin’” featuring E-40, “Same Squad,” “Again,” and “Do It for the Bay” with Saweetie. His albums include More Than Anything, PRIME, SHINE, STUNNA, Majorly Independent, and For the Soil, while his production credits include Yo Gotti’s “Act Right,” Wiz Khalifa’s “Bout Me,” and Iggy Azalea’s “Go Hard or Go Home.”
