Puma Blue is the musical project of British singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Jacob Allen, known for a nocturnal blend of alternative R&B, jazz, soul, trip-hop and lo-fi indie music. Emerging from South London’s music scene, he built an early following with the EPs Swum Baby and Blood Loss and songs including “(She’s) Just a Phase,” “Moon Undah Water,” “Want Me,” “Lust” and “Only Trying 2 Tell U.” His albums In Praise of Shadows and Holy Waters expanded the project into fuller band arrangements, while the ambient releases antichamber and extchamber explored a more stripped-back side of his work. His 2026 album Croak Dream, released through Play It Again Sam, combines jazz balladry, trip-hop atmosphere, jungle-inspired rhythms and experimental rock textures with the improvisational character of his live band.
