Pure Prairie League is a country-rock band with more than 50 years of history, rooted in Ohio and tied to the early development of the genre. Their sound blends smooth vocals, strong musicianship, and a balance of familiar country-rock warmth with a more contemporary edge.
The current lineup features founding member and pedal steel guitarist John David Call, drummer Scott Thompson, bassist Jared Camic, keyboardist Randy Harper, and guitarist/vocalist Jeffrey Zona. With the release of their new album Back On Track, the band continues the story that began in 1970 with a new set of songs.
