Starbomb is an American musical-comedy trio formed in 2013 by Game Grumps co-host and animator Arin Hanson, alongside Ninja Sex Party members Dan Avidan and Brian Wecht. The group combines synth-pop, hip-hop, nerdcore, and explicit comedy in songs that parody video games and gaming culture, with Hanson primarily rapping, Avidan providing sung vocals, and Wecht handling keyboards, instrumentation, and production. Their catalog includes the albums Starbomb, Player Select, The Tryforce, and Starbomb Boom: Rise of Lyrics, plus fan favorites such as “Luigi’s Ballad,” “It’s Dangerous to Go Alone,” “The Simple Plot of Metal Gear Solid,” “Welcome to the Mario Party,” and “Pokémon Smash or Pass.” Their self-titled debut reached the Billboard 200 and topped the Comedy Albums and Heatseekers charts, helping establish Starbomb as a leading internet-era video-game comedy act.
