State Champs is an American pop-punk band from Albany, New York, known for punchy guitar hooks, melodic choruses and an energetic sound that helped define a new generation of the genre. Formed in 2010, the band broke through with the 2013 album The Finer Things and expanded its audience with Around the World and Back, Living Proof, Kings of the New Age and the self-titled State Champs. Their best-known songs include “Elevated,” “Secrets,” “All You Are Is History,” “Dead and Gone,” “Losing Myself,” “Everybody but You” and “Silver Cloud,” while collaborations have included Ben Barlow of Neck Deep, Simple Plan and We the Kings. State Champs won Alternative Press Music Awards for Best Breakthrough Band and Best Music Video and have become one of the most established modern acts in pop-punk.
