Steve Lacy is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer whose music blends alternative R&B, funk, indie rock, pop, soul and psychedelic influences. He first gained wide recognition as guitarist and producer for The Internet, contributing to the Grammy-nominated album Ego Death, before establishing his solo career with Steve Lacy’s Demo and the albums Apollo XXI and Gemini Rights. His breakout single “Bad Habit” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, while songs including “Dark Red,” “C U Girl,” “N Side,” “Sunshine” and “Static” became central to his catalog.
