Switchfoot is a Grammy-winning alternative rock band from San Diego, California, known for combining guitar-driven rock, melodic pop, post-grunge, and spiritually reflective songwriting. Founded by brothers Jon and Tim Foreman with drummer Chad Butler, the band gained major mainstream exposure after several songs appeared in A Walk to Remember and broke through with the multi-platinum album The Beautiful Letdown, featuring “Meant to Live” and “Dare You to Move.” Their catalog also includes “Stars,” “This Is Your Life,” “We Are One Tonight,” “Awakening,” “Dark Horses,” “Your Love Is a Song,” and “Where I Belong,” along with albums such as Nothing Is Sound, Oh!
