TAEMIN is a South Korean singer, dancer, and performer whose precision, fluid choreography, and experimental pop and R&B have made him one of K-pop’s most influential solo artists. Born Lee Tae-min, he first rose to prominence as the youngest member of SHINee before launching his solo career with the EP ACE and the single “Danger.” He developed a distinctive solo identity through releases including Press It, MOVE, WANT, Never Gonna Dance Again, Advice, Guilty, ETERNAL, and PHASE 1 : Soft Violence. Signature tracks such as “MOVE,” “Criminal,” “Advice,” “WANT,” “Guilty,” “IDEA,” and “Press Your Number” combine contemporary R&B, synth-pop, electronic music, and dramatic performance, with “MOVE” becoming particularly influential for its restrained choreography and approach to gender-fluid movement.
