The Hollies are an English rock and pop band formed in the Manchester area in 1962, celebrated for polished three-part harmonies and a catalog that helped define the British Invasion. Founded by childhood friends Allan Clarke and Graham Nash, the group achieved international success with classics including “Bus Stop,” “Carrie Anne,” “Long Cool Woman (in a Black Dress),” “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother,” “The Air That I Breathe,” and “On a Carousel.” The Hollies were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2010 and continue performing with longtime members Tony Hicks and Bobby Elliott at the center of the current lineup.
