The Iron Maidens are a Southern California all-female heavy metal tribute band dedicated exclusively to the music of Iron Maiden. Formed in 2001, the group has built an international following by performing material from across Iron Maiden’s catalog, including classics such as “The Trooper,” “Aces High,” “Wasted Years,” “The Number of the Beast,” “Fear of the Dark,” and “Hallowed Be Thy Name.” Their performances recreate the musical complexity and theatrical character of an Iron Maiden concert, incorporating harmonized twin-guitar parts, high-register vocals, elaborate stage elements, and appearances inspired by mascot Eddie. The current core features vocalist Kirsten “Bruce Chickinson” Rosenberg, drummer Linda “Nikki McBURRain” McDonald, bassist Wanda “Steph Harris” Ortiz, and guitarist Nikki “Davina Murray” Stringfield, with the second-guitar role performed by Shani Kimelman or Alyssa Day.
