The Number Twelve Looks Like You is a New Jersey progressive metalcore and mathcore band formed in the early 2000s, known for combining technical metal, grindcore, screamo, hardcore, jazz-influenced complexity, and abrupt rhythmic shifts into a deliberately unpredictable sound. The band built a cult following with releases including Put on Your Rosy Red Glasses, Nuclear. Sad. Nuclear., Mongrel, and Worse Than Alone before entering a hiatus in 2010 and reuniting in 2016. Their comeback produced the 2019 album Wild Gods, followed by newer singles including “Eyes On The Fireworks,” “Indeciso,” and 2026’s “Joy Is A Weapon” featuring Foxy Shazam. The band is currently signed to Equal Vision Records and will release the new album Howls From The Holographic Heart on October 16, 2026.
