Sweet, originally known as The Sweet, is a British glam-rock and hard-rock band formed in London in 1968. The classic lineup of Brian Connolly, Steve Priest, Andy Scott and Mick Tucker became one of the defining acts of 1970s glam rock, combining stacked vocal harmonies, infectious pop hooks and heavy guitar riffs on hits including “The Ballroom Blitz,” “Fox on the Run,” “Love Is Like Oxygen,” “Little Willy,” “Block Buster!” and “Action.” The North American touring continuation performing at the Golden Nugget was established by founding bassist Steve Priest in 2008 and carries that catalog forward while releasing newer songs such as “Little Miracle,” “Insane” and “Sweet Dream.”
