Tim Montana is an American hard rock singer, songwriter, and guitarist raised near Butte, Montana, known for his gritty vocals, heavy guitar riffs, and blend of Southern rock, country rock, and alternative metal. Growing up off the grid in rural Montana, he developed his musical skills independently before establishing a professional career that included a performance on The Late Show with David Letterman and songwriting collaborations with major rock and country artists. His breakthrough single "Devil You Know" reached Billboard's rock radio charts, followed by the hard-hitting album Savage (2024), featuring songs such as "Savage," "Die Today," and "Ain't Comin' Down." His discography also includes American Thread (2020), Long Shots (2021), and Entire State of Tim Montana (2026), reflecting his evolution from country rock toward a heavier sound rooted in personal storytelling and powerful guitar-driven arrangements.
