Trent Cowie is an American country singer-songwriter from Magnolia, Texas, whose self-described "hard country" sound blends traditional Texas country with Southern rock and 2000s rock influences. Raised in a music-loving family, he developed an interest in storytelling through his grandmother's piano before teaching himself guitar in high school. After working in the West Texas oil fields while performing music on the side, Cowie pursued music full-time, sharing stages with Tracy Lawrence, Pat Green, and Roger Creager and performing at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's Hideout. His recordings include "She Don't Like Roses," "Fly Tonight," "Something To Say," the 2024 album Checking Boxes, Crossing Lines, and the 2025 single "Moving On," which reached the Top 20 on Texas country radio charts.
